Saad Ahmad

- 30 September, 2025

Saad Ahmad’s practice is rooted in observation, memory, and the act of mark-making where print becomes both record and revelation. His work unfolds through tonal layering, drawing, and etched surfaces, translating the act of witnessing into a language of endurance and belonging. His prints, like fossils, hold memory of places encountered, silences observed, and forms that persist across time. They collapse past and present, revealing how nature’s resilience operates as an archive in itself—at once fragile in its vulnerability and monumental in its endurance.

In Witness, each work stands as a spatial narrative, where the inner self and the natural world converge. The copperplate — scarred, burnished, and luminous, holds record of not only the artist’s hand but also history of the medium itself. This exhibition invites viewers to move beyond looking, entering instead into a shared act of witnessing—where consciousness converges with nature, and belonging quietly insists on being felt.
