Suleman Faisal is a visual artist and educator based in Lahore, Pakistan. Since graduating from the National College of Arts in 2017, he has exhibited extensively across the country.

His practice explores the emotional complexities that exist beneath performances of masculinity. Drawing from personal memories and experiences of domestic life, he examines how power can transform into vulnerability, aggression into guilt, and silence into a lasting emotional condition.

Working across sculpture, video, and performance, Faisal presents the male figure not as a symbol of strength or authority, but as a site of emotional tension and self-reflection. His figures inhabit moments of hesitation, tenderness, and exposure, challenging conventional notions of masculinity that equate strength with control and emotional restraint.

Through intimate gestures and quiet moments of revelation, Faisal traces the emotions that linger beneath the surface—those that remain unspoken yet continue to shape how we inhabit ourselves and relate to others. His works dwell in the fragile space between concealment and exposure, inviting viewers to set aside inherited societal perceptions and consider vulnerability not as weakness, but as a profound and essential condition of being human.
